Energy generation and use would take into consideration the long-term environmental, social and economic implications which could be partially mitigated by sustainable energy solutions such as energy efficiency measures and renewable energy solutions. Through education and community outreach, the AUA Acopian Center for the Environment has organized initiatives, conferences and workshops in many cities and villages in Armenia to raise awareness on these implications, as well as promote sustainable energy solutions.
